Tom Watson has taken the lead in the British Open reminding people of the 59 year old’s hay days when he beat the greats such as Jack Nicholson. He is currently leading the first round with a score of 65.

After some great starts with a couple of birdies Watson continued his strong streak throughout the course. Tom Watson made the most out of near perfect conditions, whilst Tiger Woods was struggling.
