By 1982, produced by Iris Gordy and Eldra DeBarge, the groups second album, entitled ‘All This Love’, was released, with James joining the groups ranks. [2]

Boasting two top ballads, the title cut and “I Like It,” All This Love featured smooth group harmonies behind El DeBarge’s attractive first tenor and light Pop/Soul arrangements. [3]

Eldra “El” DeBarge (born June 4, 1961 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) was an African-American/French R&B and soul singer, the older brother of singers James and Chico DeBarge and the focal point and lead singer of the DeBarge family group throughout the early 1980s. [5]

The bi-racial family group DeBarge had the looks, the vocal talent and the backing of Motown that vaulted it quickly to the top of the Pop and Soul worlds in 1982. [3]
