multiply and divide

By Chris, Zada News

When multiplying by a whole number, it is not necessary to change to an improper fraction. [1]

If you need a review on multiplying polynomials, feel free to go back to Tutorial 6: Polynomials. [2]

To multiply or divide signed integers, always multiply or divide the absolute values and use these rules to determine the sign of the answer. [3]

That will be Problem 13 of the Lesson on Common Factor. [4]

We will also look at multiplying and dividing them. [5]

In this tutorial I will be stepping you through how to multiply and divide rational expressions. [2]

If the fraction becomes improper, extract the whole number. [1]

Step 4: Multiply any remaining factors in the numerator and/or denominator. [2]

Step 2: Divide out all common factors that the numerator and the denominator have. [...] Anyway, over the next several tutorials we will be showing you several aspects of rational expressions (fractions). [5]

When multiplying fractions, do not change to a common denominator. [1]

With rational functions, we need to watch out for values that cause our denominator to be 0. [5]

In the denominator we factored a GCF and a trinomial. [...] If you need a review on factoring, feel free to go back to Tutorial 7: Factoring Polynomials. [2]

– we would divide by 3 eventually. [1]
