Elisha Nelson “Eli” Manning was born on January 3 of 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a player of football, quarterback of the New York Giants of the NFL American. It is the younger brother of Peyton Manning and Cooper Manning and the son of Archie Manning and Olivia Manning. He played football at the University of Mississippi after attending high school at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans.
Manning was drafted by the San Diego Chargers with the first pick in the NFL Draft, 2004. However, a transfer sent Manning to the Giants in exchange for the choice of the number four draft pick, Philip Rivers and a third-round pick in the NFL Draft 2004, the Giants also gave up a first and a fifth round NFL of 2005.

In the 2008 season in the NFL, he and his team could not stop the Super Bowl after a great season by winning, among others, the Green Bay Packers in the conference finals. In the Super Bowl XLII the Giants led by Manning managed to beat against forecast by 17 to 14 to the favorites, the New England Patriots, who remained at the gates of a historic season. Manning decided to end with a pair of drives that culminated in a touchdown in the absence of 30 seconds late in the game.
